......The workshop was fun and productive. We covered the usual material and discussed local issues. This workshop may become a regular feature on the Foundation’s calendar, to underscore the work they are doing themselves. Many of you will recognise these activities, illustrated below:

       Our speaker's Profile: Andrea Robertson.

Andrea Robertson is a childbirth educator with over 30 years experience in
working with expectant parents during pregnancy and births.  As Principle of
Associates in Childbirth Education (ACE), Birth International, an independent
consultancy in Australia and the United Kingdom, she has developed training programmes

and workshops for both parents and health professionals around the world.
She has written several books including Preparing for Birth: Mothers, Preparing
for Birth: Fathers, Making Birth Easier, Empowering Women – teaching Active
Birth in the 90’s and The Midwife Companion.
Andrea is no stranger to Thailand. She has previously conducted many
workshops in Bangkok and Chiangmai and was a Speaker at the ‘Birth Without
Borders’ International Conference, held in Chiangmai in 1997 and she was part of
a lecture team that visited the major provincial teaching hospitals  and the
Ramathibodi in Bangkok.
